For 25 years Nolan’s had compassionate conversations that change people’s lives.

Background

I have been coaching since 1995. My areas of expertise are ADHD, recovery from addictive/compulsive behaviors, personal growth, stress and emotional dysregulation. I’ve had coach training at the Co-active Training Institute, ADD Coach Academy and Mentor Coach.

Having ADHD myself I fully understand the ins and outs of living with ADHD. I understand the problems that ADHD symptoms bring to personal life, work and relationships. As an ADHD coach I work with adults of all ages who have ADHD and also with the partners of those with ADHD.

I have been in recovery for 38 years and personally understand the catastrophic impact that addiction and out of control compulsive behaviors have on life, work and personal relationships. I also know that despite the chaos, pain and hopelessness that addiction brings to every dimension of life, recovery is possible. And I have direct experience of the ups and downs of recovery itself: the successes, the failures, the hard work, and challenges that accompany the gift of a new life found in recovery.

I Coach Because…

Because coaching engages me with the very best parts of myself. The parts that are the most present, compassionate, intuitive, curious and skillful. Coaching is being entirely focused in the moment on an often vulnerable, fellow human being that wants change, needs support, seeks a safe place to land where they can be heard, received and believed.

Because coaching is an opportunity to help another person see and experience the best parts of themselves. An opportunity to help someone discover how to live from their strengths, values, abilities, and passions. An opportunity to empower someone to actualize their potential for self-compassion, transformation and healing.

Because coaching is one of the most enjoyable and fulfilling activities of my life. There is no feeling comparable to what I experience when conversing with a client, and coming to a certain point of inner knowing, based on years of experience, that says I can really help this person change their life for the better. Then having the privilege of working together with this person, and forming a powerful alliance, to help them do just that.

My methods include proven techniques and evidence-based approaches that have demonstrated success in managing ADHD, addiction recovery, emotional dysregulation and stress. I focus on what works.

I believe in a strong partnership between coach and client, fostering collaboration to progress quickly and to provide support and accountability on the path to lasting change.
